Creative Sew & Sews, formerly of Manalapan, opened in September of 2004 to excite EVERY FIBER of your creative being! Inspiration awaits for quilters, sewers, fiber artists, interior designers, cloth dollmakers and other creative beings at our convenient location on 30 Main St. in historic Englishtown, NJ. Haven’t caught fiber fever YET? No problem, we warmly welcome beginners too! Just a warning though: IT’S ADDICTIVE! Hundreds of colorful cotton fabrics from Andover,Elizabeth Studios, R. Kaufman, Timeless Treasures, Kona Bay,P&B, Benartex, Michael Miller, Clothworks, Marcus Brothers and more line the shelves of our 1500 sq. foot store. Threads from Mettler are a sewer’s dream to work with. Miles of Hanah Silk ribbons add beauty and elegance to every design they meet. Indulge yourself in newly released books from C&T Publishing, That Patchwork Place and others. We offer magnificent magazines like Mark Lipinski’s “Quilter’s Home” and Kona Bay’s “Asian Fabrics”. Dozens of unique patterns and hard to find notions like Fast2Fuse and Quilter’s Dream Batting can also be found here. Not in stock? We will gladly special order any item currently available for you. We also offer sewing machine repair, scissor sharpening and photo to fabric transfer services. Personalized service is our specialty. We will gladly assist you from concept to completion!
